To perform my laptop screen and external Eizo monitor calibrations (which I just did again this past weekend on my W530 which I just installed Win10 from scratch on) the software I use is open-source free DisplaењњAL (which is free but you can make a donation, and it is a wonderful product deserving of support). But you need to install it in order to get the driver installed for the device itself, which can then be utilized by other 3rd-party calibration software products who can now see it through Device Manager. I don't use actually this software to perform my laptop screens (P70 and W530 and Dell) because I don't like it's GUI. Hence you're entitled to normal retail support for the device and the iProfile software. It comes with retail fully-featured X-Rite i1Profiler software, not any 'lite' version. So it's a good investment and is pretty much universally recognized by assorted calibration software products in their list of supported devices. Well, if you're willing to invest in (or already have invested in) a decent highly regarded and modestly priced (about $200) colorimiter like the i1 Display Pro, you will have just purchased a gizmo that can be used to calibrate ALL of your monitors, not just a laptop screen.
