Some players in the last season of their contract will sometimes ask for contract renegotiations. Obviously, if you're requesting a trade from a human player, you're at the mercy of his personal time schedule as to when he'll get back with you. You'll want to double-check your Things To Do tab after a trade offer to see. When trading with a human, you have no way to judge their interest unless you're actually talking to them, but that way negotiations could happen faster.Д®ven though the in-game indicator says the team will 'get back with you on their response next week,' sometimes the trade offer will be responded to immediately. When making trades, you can trade any player or pick from the next two drafts, and colored bars will tell you the AI's interest in the trade. You never have to make an offer for a player of course, but any offer for a player on the trade block is more likely to be accepted than an offer for a player not on it. If any teams (including AI teams) have a player on their trade block, you'll see it at the bottom of your Things To Do tab. Game Prep can be skipped entirely if you wish, but to maximize your players' skills over their whole careers, you'll want to do them as much as possible.

Game Prep is done at a lower difficulty than you make the full game, giving you a great chance to achieve all the objectives at game-speed without game-difficulty. In-Game Drills earn you far more XP, although it can take five to ten minutes of work if you're playing an online Franchise and other players want to get on with the game, you may not have the time to do them. However, if you run In-Game Drills, you'll actually play the practices yourself with the same types of drills seen in the Skills Trainer. You simply select which players you want to affect, each one of whom will take away from your weekly Game Prep time budget. Wins will automatically add confidence.Д®arn Player XP and Earn Player Confidence are static menus. Player Confidence is basically the вЂњluckвЂќ of the game: a confident player gains temporary boosts to their attributes, and might mean the difference between a drop or a touchdown reception. The other three tiles are more meaty: Earn Player XP, Earn Player Confidence, and In-Game Drills. This doesn't give your players direct benefit, but it'll get you used to your team's playbook.

Another tile, Free Practice, lets you run any play you want with your current squad. The right-most lets you view the overall ratings of your Offense and Defense, along with their confidence, and selecting it will let you see how your players have progressed over the year. On the first screen of the Game Prep menu, you'll be presented with five tiles. This is accessible through the first tab, and can be done before or after your game of the week. Game PrepД®very week, you can run several kinds of practice in the Game Prep menu. This bug is only visual, and will not affect your team eligibility. Exiting back out to the hub still shows 'Cut 2 Players' on the tile, but it can be ignored.
